RUAG Defence Supplies Protection Systems

Diehl Defence Land Systems (DLS) ordered RUAG to deliver protection systems for upgrading heavy armoured vehicles. RUAG Defence manufactures the well-known SidePRO-LASSO, SidePRO-RPG, MinePRO, and RoofPRO solutions and developed the new modular protection systems SidePRO-ATR and SidePRO-KE/IED. The latter is an extremely robust protection system designed to defend against the effects of kinetic energy (KE) rounds and IEDs. It is based on non-ceramic materials.
