Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) for the first time ever presented a new versions of the GTK BOXER that is used by the German and Netherlands Armed Forces in different versions. The GTK BOXER 8x8 vehicle platform was upgraded with a 30 mm PUMA turret. The PUMA is the brand new infantry fighting vehicle of the German Army. So this version is a combination of the newest vehicles of the German Armed Forces. It combines a very high mobility of the wheel-based vehicle, high protection with a powerful weapon – for a high and better survivability and sustainability.
