DIMDEX 2016: NAVANTIA's Hat-Trick

The Spanish shipbuilder approached DIMDEX 2016 with a completely new naval/maritime training asset, named NAVANTIS Training Integrated System. It was developed for the Royal Australian Navy's Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) project consisting of two platforms based on the Spanish Navy's "Juan Carlos I" LHD, Juan Luis Munoz, IPMS HMI Software Engineer of Systems Division NAVANTIA (SEPI Group) informed NAVAL FORCES. Based on Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) technology, it provides ship crews with total knowledge of their ship and mission scenarios. Juan Luis Munoz, while showcasing NAVANTIS to the very first delegations in Doha, agreed that there is much potential for offering the new training and simulation solution to certain customers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, as well as other regions in the world.
