Enforce Tac/IWS 2016: Military Tester wanted

HELSPORT AS from Norway has had its Fjellduk product available for a while now, being mainly a civil hunter product. Mountain Fjellduk is a multi-use product and can be vital hiking equipment, but is also important to keep the hunter warm.
HELSPORT just adapted the product for the French Army. Now they want to develop a real military version and a searching for military personnel as testers, mainly from the infantry (sniper, mountain troops and Special Operation Forces). If you are interested you can get in contact with Mr. Bernward Elsel (bernward@helsport.no). Or you can visit them directly at their IWA booth.
The Fjellduk is already available in different versions:
HELSPORT Fjellduk is a convenient multi-use product used in different ways depending on the situation and needs. Whether you are surprised by extreme weather or light camping, the HELSPORT fjellduk will be functional, the hoody and arms are detachable and can be zipped off/on, depending on needs. It can be used as a poncho, sleeping bag, wind sack or tarp. HELSPORT Fjellduk comes in different colours/patterns, thicknesses and insulation.

Fjellduk Trek is the lightest fjellduk. It has the same functions as the other models, except the possibility to turn it in to a sleeping bag. It has a total weight of 700 g (outer fabric: 500 g, hood and arms: 200 g) and a volume (compressed) of 11x25 cm, unfolded the size is 145x240 cm, or as a wind sack 120x145 cm.

Fjellduk Trek XT is the lightest insulated Fjellduk. It has the same functions as the other models except the possibility to turn it into a sleeping bag. Here the total weight is 1,400 g (outer fabric: 1,200 g, hood and arms 200 g) with a compressed volume of 20x23 cm and an unfolded size of 145x240 cm, or as a wind sack wind sack 120x145 cm.

Fjellduk Pro can also be used as a sleeping bag. The Pro weights 775 g (tarp 575 g, hood and arms 200 g), has a volume of 12x25 cm and unfolded size of 160x230 cm (wind sack 115x160 cm; sleeping bag 80x230 cm).

Fjellduk X-Trem
Fjellduk Xtrem has the same qualities as the other models, in addition is is isolated, which ensures you to keep warm when you are on post while hunting. It is also possible to make it into a sleeping bag. It weights 1,700 g (tarp 1,500 g, hood and arms 200 g), with a volume of 20x25 cm and unfolded size of 160x230 cm (wind sack 115x160 cm; sleeping bag 80x230 cm).

Fjellduk X-Trem Flex
This one is the most versatile Fjellduk. Can be used both with and without the insulation layer. It has the same qualities as the other models, but in addition to that, it has the possibility to separate the outer fabric with the isolated inner fabric and use them separately. If the temperature is too high to use the insulation layer, leave it at home and use only the outer layer which is the same as Fjellduk Pro.
With 2,275 g it is the heaviest (outer fabric 575 g, detachable isolation 1,950 g, compressed size 20x40 cm and unfolded 160x230 cm (wind sack 115x160 cm; sleeping bag 80x230 cm).

All have a detachable hood, detachable arms, joinable zipper, a zipper-flap and then are delivered with a compression bag and red emergency flag. The water column is 5,000 mm – that is a lot, especially when the bag pack can be carried under the Fjellduk, without any pressure from outside. The outer fabric is Polyester PU with an aluminium belegg.
Now it is up to you to test it under the hardest conditions and make suggestions for adaptions that fit your professional needs.
