SHOT Show 2015: New products by ARCTERYX

At SHOT Show, ARCTERYX is presenting new equipment (backpacks and gloves)  as well as a new fire retardant uniform.

Building on the heritage of the original Khard pack 30 and 45), the larger volume Khard 60 remains lightweight and durable, with sufficient load capacity for reconnaisance tasks with a concealed carbine carry option.

Industry partners have developed custom accessories and pouches to fit the all Velcro lining. Limitless internal configurations make it is adaptable for communication specialists, breachers, snipers and other applications.

Less is more: less visibility, less weight, less restriction. More function, more versatility and more capacity. The Khard 60 is  hybrid Assault/Patrol Pack capable of carrying a carbine in a concealed manner. A clamshell opening facilitates easy access into the compartment that is configurated for the aftermarket modular pouches, and also incorporates a drop down extension in order to accommodate carbines with longer upper receivers.

Two large volume side pockets open wide for fast entry. Hydration compartment carries either 3L bladder or elongated equipment. The stable suspension system provides molded padding on shoulder straps and waist belt for sustained long-haul comfort.

New is also the Assault Glove FR (Fire Retardant). As a mission essential precision tool, the Assault Glove FR has acceptional tactile dexterity and touch sensor capabilities (for PDA and tablets). Flame resistant materials provide protection; reinforced finger and web construction increase durability and reliable performance. It is the 1st glove ARCTERYX ever made.

At display was also a new uniform, it will be available later in the year. The uniform will consist of a trouser, a combat shirt and a second top- but no jacket. ARCTERYX assume that body armour is worn all time. The yarm contains more wool and less synthetic.
