Today, at 1100h and again at 1500h, IBD Deisenroth Engineering (booth K571 in the German Pavillion) is showcasing IBD Nano-Technologies in form of Transparent Ceramic Protection (TCP).
This technology, a spin-off of IBD’s opaque NANOTech Ceramics, reduces the weight of protected windows by about 70%.
The nano-fibre reinforced transparent backing has a high long term stability, and due to a low number of layers can be operated over a wider temperature than standard armour glass.
