DSEi 2015: Rohde & Schwarz Achieves Situational Awarenes of the Show

Rohde & Schwarz (R&S) achieve situational awareness at DSEI 2015 via the following:

A next generation IP-based naval switching system providing internal and external voice and data communications. The next generation R&S NAVICS is a fully IP-based switching system providing internal and external voice and data communications. The innovative system interconnects the distributed on-board voice terminals, as well as all other subsystems for internal and external communications via a uniform IP network. What is different about this system is the extensive use of rugged, conventional IT technology with accreditable security provided by R&S. More details here.

R&S is introducing a new and innovative radar signal collection and analysis system at DSEI 2015. The radar signal collection and analysis system is an advanced search, collection, measurement and analysis system that can be used on almost any platform in any signal environment. It was especially designed to cope with modern challenges in the radar world, such as collection and analysis of multi-function and low power LPI radar signals. More details here.

R&S is showcasing SCA-based radios and high data rate waveforms to enable network centric operations. The R&S SDTR next generation tactical radio can be seamlessly integrated into IP-networks. R&S has developed a family of waveforms to meet the requirements of simultaneous high speed voice and data transmission. More details here.

R&S supports recon missions with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) systems. R&S COMINT / C-ESM systems are customised solutions for radio monitoring and radio-location in the 10kHz to 40GHz frequency range. The systems are suitable for land-based, naval and airborne applications. Configurations range from small portable single-operator, mobile applications to complex semi-mobile or fixed monitoring stations with dedicated operator positions. These can be supported by remote subsystems through various kinds of wired or wireless communications. The modular system concept using standardized hardware and software components enables our system to be tailored to meet customer requirements. More details here.
